"Excellence Comes to Those Who Seek It"

Are you ready for the best decision of your academic career?
Are you a competitive person? Are you looking for a way to get involved in middle school or high school outside of the classroom? Do you love making music with your friends? Then we have the place for you! The 2012 Liverpool Warriors Marching Band is now recruiting for positions in its award-winning Woodwinds, Brass, and Percussion and Colorguard Sections! Scoring 3rd at the 2011 US Bands National Championships, the Liverpool Warriors Marching Band has established itself as one of the premiere competitive field bands in New York State and beyond! Competitive marching band takes place on a football field and music is provided by live musicians from the Liverpool Music Program - your own classmates and friends - combined with the visual artistry of the Colorguard! Together, you'll create a visual and musical story that will give the crowd something to cheer about! The Liverpool Warriors Marching Band is a group of about 100 students from throughout Liverpool - you will be challenged as a musician in an environment that will truly change your academic career for the better. The friendship and fellowship shared among members of the marching band are lifelong!

Do you have what it takes?
Membership in the Liverpool Warriors Marching Band is open to all students enrolled in the Liverpool Central School District who will be entering grades 8-12 this fall. All members who are a part of the woodwinds, brass, or percussion sections must also be enrolled in a curricular music course at CHMS, LMS, SRMS, or LHS in order to participate. This is one of the few competitive activities you can be a part of where there is no "bench" - everyone plays! So if you think you might have the passion and the drive, we have a place waiting for you!
